Nomura Family Samurai House
- 野村家武家屋敷跡
- Ishikawa
The Nomura house is the only samurai residence open to the public in Naga-machi. This residence of the Nomura lord retains the atmosphere of the old glory days of the Samurai. The furniture, interior, artifacts such as the artwork of Senkei Sasaki, the ceilings and the doors, have high cultural value. In the garden are mountain peach and vertebra trees that are about 400 years old, a bridge with a cherry blossom-patterned rock, and an old stone lamp.
