Sandankyo is a large canyon designated as a “national special scenic beauty” in Japan. With a total length of 13 km, there are many spots to visit along its surroundings, such as the Kurofuchi, Sarutobi, and a number of waterfalls, whose waters have a mysterious breathtaking charm. Tourists will never tire of this place, because there is always a different view every season, from the spring colors, to the fresh green of summer, to the vibrant autumn leaves.
