Shikoku Karst is a limestone plateau 1,000-1,455 meters above ground, and spans across the borders of Ehime and Kochi. It is one of Japan's three largest karst landforms, and the Ehime side of it is a designated prefectural natural park. It consists of Mezudaira, Godan Plateau, Tengu Plateau, Onogahara, and is 25 meters long and 3 km wide. Its highest point is Tengu Plateau, where it is possible to see mountain ranges, including Mount Ishizuchi. In Godan Plateau and Mezudaira, the unique landscape of white limestone amidst the grasslands can be seen. In the summer, a green blanket of grass covers the land, and in autumn, it is covered with silver grass. The Tengu Plateau is a famous grazing area for milking cows.
