A couple of popular sightseeing spots in this area are the "Kurimata no Taki" (Kurimata Falls), a famous water fall within Chiba that has a 30-meter drop to Yorogawa River, and the Kiyosumiji Temple, one of the temples of the Nichiren Buddhism Sect. Within the temple's precints is the designated natural treasure called "Kiyosumi no Osugi" (Kiyosumi's Great Cedar Tree), also known as "Millenium Cedar Tree," popular as a deity tree among locals.
