Kawauchi River and its tributaries flow to the center of Okuchi Basin and thereafter transform into what is "Sogi Falls" in the southwest of the city; this then pours into Tsuruta Dam. Sogi Falls flows against a strange rock surface; it has a width of 210 meters and a height of 12 meers. In the spring, the area fills with color from the cherry blossoms and azaleas in the park. During the summer, water is abundant.
