One of Japan's 100 Scenic Spots, Mount Hiko looms 1,200 meters over the town of Yamakuni in Nakatsu, Oita Prefecture. It is considered as one Japan's great three mountains, along with Mount Yahiko in Niigata, and Mount Seppiko in Hyogo. Visitors can bask in the historical atmosphere while having a bath surrounded with trees.
