Yomiuriland is an amusement park popular for its abundance of thrilling rides. The most popular ride of them all has to be the super-fast 110km jet coaster called “Bandit”, which runs at full speed though the forest. There are around 27 different types of attractions here, including a large Ferris wheel for visitors to relax in and enjoy the view, as well as the only bungee jump facility in Tokyo. There are also a number of rides for children too, therefore making it a perfect day out for all the family. “Pool WAI”, consisting of five pools and three water slides is set up during the summer months, while the sparkling “Jewel Illuminations” is the event to see in the winter. A live sea lion show is held daily, and all the characters get together for the “Character Show”, held on weekends and national holidays.
