This is the only park in Tokyo which has been built along the riverside of Shogotamari. One of the most characteristic spots of this park has to be the 1.2km-long walkway lined with 20m-high poplar trees. The dense “Metasequoia Forest”, with around 1,800 metasequoia trees, is the largest forest in a park in Tokyo. Mizumoto Park also consists of “Hanashobu Japanese Iris Garden”, with around 100 different types of iris flower, Seseragi Square, and a waterside bird sanctuary. It really is a wonderful place to relax.
