Located in the midst of the Iizuna Highlands, it is believed that Daizahoshi Pond was made when the footprints of monk Daidara accumulated water. It is a popular destination for sports enthusiasts due to its abundance of sporting activities through the year. There is a walkway all the way around the pond, with one lap taking approx. 20-minutes.
