Oct. Early morning

This temporary lake is made in Odashirogahara after the influence of long periods of heavy rain. It last appeared in 2011, and is now commonly known as the “Phantom Lake” due to the fact that it is so rare to see. Alpine plants, such as thistles and arctic irises, are in full bloom from spring through summer.
