The sunset of Chichibugahama Beach was chosen as one of the “Top 100 Sunsets of Japan”. Bathers flock to this calm, 1 km-long beach every summer, while those who visit in spring are able to look out over the Seto Inland Sea during the low spring tide. The water here is so calm that it almost appears like a mirror – hence its nickname, “The Uyuni Salt Lake of Japan”.
