Nikko Kaido Route
Nikko Kaido Route is one of the 5 great “Go-Kaido Roads” (roads radiating from Edo (Tokyo)). It has been designated as both a Special National Historical Site, and a Special Natural Monument of Japan. Why not take a stroll along this road and take in the majestic architecture of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and the beautiful, lush nature such as the Tone River or the avenue of cedar trees near Tokujiro Inn.
