Kimono Forest, Arashiyama
2-meter high poles exhibit artwork decorated with the Kyoyuzen pattern. The 600 modern Japanese artwork pieces are lit up after sunset. The Kyoyuzen pattern was founded by the long-standing Kameda Tomisome Factory during the Taisho era (1912-1926). There now stands a total of 32 different Kyoyuzen patterns.
