This waterfall got its name from the fact that the falling water looks like the long, disheveled white hair of a woman. It was chosen as one of the “Top 100 Japanese Waterfalls” in 1990 by Green Renaissance, among others. Visitors can enjoy the “Oyatani-no-Yu Hot Spring”, among other outdoor hot aprons and foot spas, along the walkway of Ubaga Waterfall.
