Inasa Beach
Oct.
Voted as one of the "Top 100 Beaches of Japan", Inasa Beach is also known as a sacred location in Izumo where rituals to the Gods are performed. Lots of famous mythological sites can be seen here, such as "Byobu Rock" at the far-side of the beach. It is believed that Okuninushi (a divine god in Japanese Shinto religion) and Takemikazuchi negotiated land at this very beach.
